Creating My Own Boutique

In my Category Management class, we learned how to use JDA Software. In this specific assignment, I created a 50-60x women's apparel boutique. The project included a few requirements, such as: fitting rooms, an ADA bathroom, and signage. I inserted my apparel wall from space planning to floor planning to begin begin my boutique from the ground up.

The front of the store had two large windows to allow for natural light within the store. This also provided window displays to showcase new merchandise and styling ideas which would draw customers in. I added white brick above the windows with my store name embedded between. I included wood flooring with windows around the perimeter of the walls. I wanted the store to be colorful so I added a multi-color rug with pink accents. The layout of my store was important for customers to shop easily.
